Paul Hesp is a Certificated Facilitator for Everything DiSC. The DiSC model itself is nothing new, but Everything DiSC is different. This model has been extensively researched and validated- you can see how below if you want the academic chapter and verse, courtesy of the powerful Wiley brand. Not only does Everything DiSC tell you about your personality (plenty of competitors do just that), but it  does so extremely accurately, and more importantly gives you valuable information and guidance about how to recognise and adapt to other people's styles, and so become a highly coherent, high-performing team. And this works at all levels, from the MD down.

The Model

What is DiSC?

DiSC is a very simple - and memorable - model made up of four basic styles: D, i, S, and C.


Everyone is a blend of all four DiSC styles—usually one, two, or even three styles stand out. Unlike simple personality tests, there is no perfect DiSC style. Since each person has a unique behavioral profile, people are walking around all over the world with different styles and priorities. We believe that these differences are extremely valuable. Once you assess these differences and harness their value, you’ll have better workplace communication AND healthier organisations. (Who doesn’t want that?!)

Wiley have been researching and analysing DiSC for over 40 years—in fact, their DiSC® Classic Paper Profile was the first DiSC assessment ever. You’ll always know it’s Wiley's DiSC by the signature lower-cased “i” in DiSC.


As technology has evolved, DiSC has too. Wiley's online DiSC assessments, as used by PHMC,  use the most advanced assessment method (adaptive testing) and sophisticated algorithms to quickly analyse a person’s responses and provide the most personalised DiSC feedback possible. And it only takes about 15 minutes to complete.


All of our Everything DiSC personality assessments are application-focused, so the feedback is presented to you as a leader, manager, individual contributor, or sales person.

The Experience

Your DiSC experience will be tailored to your needs and expectations. An initial no-obligation meeting will explore how you and your team specifically could benefit from Everything DiSC, pinpoint the ideal DiSC tools to be used to meet your specific objectives, and agree a programme. This would be formalised in a written proposal for you.  The first stage in the programme is that you and your team complete an online assessment, and this generates an individually created and very detailed Profile Report. In a series of intensive workshops, rich with practical exercises as well as theory, Paul will guide you through your Profile Reports. Expert guidance enables you to understand your own DiSC profile, helping you to appreciate the positive and negative effects  your personality can have on workplace communication. You'll learn  practical tips to recognise when and how it can be beneficial to modify your "natural" personality. You'll explore how different presonality types within a team interact with others, and learn how to improve collaboration and workplace performance. 

You'll also get access to an online portal "MyEverythingDiSC", where you can compare your Profile with others in your team.

Certification

Wiley operate a robust Certification programme for Facilitators. This comprises an intensive workshop (Paul Hesp attended a two-day programme run by Authorised Partner The Fruitful Group), supported by pre- and post-course study and an examination. Skills are trained not only in understanding the model and providing feedback, but in guiding and advising clients on their application of the learning in their own workplaces. 

Certified Facilitators have access to the advanced online portal known as "Epic", and this is where results are collected and analysed, and a range of client reports generated.
