Establishing your new norm after coronavirus

Use the experience of an impartial external consultant to guide you along the road to recovery.

Challenge

You may feel that all your had work has been undone by coronavirus. Maybe sales fell of the cliff, you've had to let some of your staff go, maybe your best suppliers or customers have gone bust. Those reserves you were building up for the next investment or the corporation tax bill are gone. Overheads are still high, and it's really hard work. So what now? Well, lets review your prospects. It's probably going to be a different world for business now, and that means there are new opportunities. Those who are innovative and who identify the opportunities will succeed. Possibly you can still do everything just as you always did. Possibly not. It's time to think and challenge. PHMC will help you understand what you have learned from this testing time, and how to apply the lessons to the future. Even better, you may be eligible for a subsidy to cover PHMC's fees from the East Midlands Accelerator scheme, or other sources.

Experience

Many of the same principles of planning for growth will be equally valid when planning recovery. Paul Hesp has had some useful background experience, having been an adviser on the government-funded Rural Business Recovery Scheme following the (less serious) foot and mouth disease in 2001, and again, more broadly following the economic recession of 2008. He'll be objective and honest. He'll help you set new goals and objectives for the short and medium term. He'll produce new forecasts with you. He'll help you develop action plans, and if you want, will stay by your side while the plans are implemented. Look ahead now!
